Skiing in September

The questions everyone has in their minds when it come to skiing sand dunes are related to speed and angle. Is this the slope steep enough to ski and will my skis slide anything like they do on snow. The answers my friends are yes!

The solo sand mission was was necessary spirit boost. I have been seriously missing the snow!

It took half a turn to get enough speed to shred. The sensation is similar to slushy corn snow in the spring!

The weather was turbulent causing some serious face shots of sand to the eyes. Luckily my Julbo Vermont Classic glacier glasses were the perfect companion!

I'd do it again in a heart beat! Pray for snow*****
